Materials:

  • 500 gram FunCakes mix for Cupcakes
  • 250 gram soft unsalted butter
  • 5 eggs (approx. 250 gram)
  • muffin/cupcake baking pan (standard, 12 stuks)
  • 24 baking cups
  • 200 gram FunCakes mix for Buttercream
  • 250 gram soft butter
  • 150 ml water
  • decorating bags
  • tip 1M (eg Wilton)
  • FunCakes soft pearls pink/white
  • FunCakes fondant pink & white
  • Plunger cutter flower
  •  

Preparation:


Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Line 24 baking cups in the muffin baking pans (if you have a pan for 12 cupcakes, then halve the ingredients). Mix the eggs, the butter and the mix for cupcakes in 4 minutes to a smooth batter.

 

Mix it on the lowest setting. Divide the batter, using an ice scoop or two tablespoons, in the baking cups until they are half full. Bake the cupcakes in approx. 18 minutes golden brown.

 

Add the water to the mixture and beat with a whisk. Then let the mixture rest at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Beat the butter for approx. 5 minutes until creamy. Add a part of the mixture to the butter and beat until the mixture has been completely absorbed before adding the next part.


Once all of the mixture has been added, beat to a smooth buttercream (approx. 10 minutes). You can give the buttercream a color or a flavour if desired.

 

Place the tip in the decorating bag and fill this with the buttercream. Spray beautiful swirls of cream on the cupcake and decorate them with the pearls. Roll the pink and white fondant and use the plunger cutter to cut out flowers. Place the flowers on the cupcakes.
